Virat Kohli is the most google searched sportsperson
No surprises here. India's Test captain, her favourite cricketing hero, Virat Kohli tops the list. The man who is as entertaining on the cricket field as he is off it, Kohli had a watershed 2015. While it was not the best of years with the willow for Kohli as he made only two Test centuries in 15 innings and two ODI centuries in 20 matches. But under his captaincy in Tests, India rose from No. 6 in Tests to No. 2, riding on back-to-back series wins against Sri Lanka and South Africa.
He also reached 8 million Twitter followers - currently only a few thousand behind Sachin Tendulkar.
But virat surprized and tweeted
"Can't believe I am the most searched! I must be good at hiding; just kidding.
Thank you for your love. Feel blessed"

No home advantage because of IPL:Virat Kohli
India Test captain Virat Kohli feels that India won't have such a big home advantage any more.
"So many players from around the world have played the IPL for 8-9 years now so they are familiar with the Indian conditions," Kohli said at the launch of 2016 ICC World T20.
When India last hosted an ICC event in 2011, they started the tournament as clear favourites. And they delivered too. But the IPL was three years old back then - with the second edition taking place in South Africa. With eight seasons complete, and with more and more cricketers from around the world making a name for themselves in India, conditions are not fully in India's favour anymore.
India suffered heartbreak in the previous edition when they failed at the final hurdle, losing to Sri Lanka in the final at the Sher-E-Bangla National Stadium, Mirpur. Kohli said that the defeat in the final hurt the team.
Kohli said that keeping things simple will be the key to success in this edition.

Virat team Bengaluru Yodhas vs Rohith Uttar Pradesh Warriors team
A day after Rohit Sharma was announced as the co-owner of PWL team Uttar Pradesh Warriors, Kohli was unveiled as a stakeholder of another franchise Bengaluru Yodhas. The two cricket superstars are the new big names in a league, which also has actor Dharmendra as the co-owner of Punjab Royals.
Bengaluru Yodhas will start their campaign against the UP Warriors in their opening fixture on Friday.
The six-city based PWL will commence at New Delhi's K.D. Jadhav Stadium on Thursday. The semi-finals will be held on December 25 and 26, with the final on December 27.
“I was thrilled on hearing about the Pro Wrestling League and Bengaluru Yodhas. I am no stranger to the city of Bangalore and it is wonderful that I can extend my association by way of the Yodhas,” Kohli said in a statement.
“I am confident that the Yodhas will be a vital cog in the scheme of things. I am excited and cannot wait to follow all the action on the mat.”
Bengaluru are a strong team comprising the likes of Narsingh Pancham Yadav (74kg), Bajrang Punia (65kg), Sandeep Tomar (57kg), Ukraine’s Pavlo Oliiynik (97kg), 2012 London Olympics silver medallist Davit Modzmanashvili (125kg) of Georgia in men’s section.
In the women’s category, five-time World Championship medallist Yuliya Ratkevich of Azerbaijan, USA’s Alyssa Lampe, India’s Lalita Sehrawat and Navjot Kaur are in the ranks.
